Elderly woman on the main street in the small town of Lukla. According to rumors, she has been sitting on the same chair for many, many years, watching tourists and expeditions that are heading towards Everest and the Nepalese mountains. The city of Lukla is located at 2860m and the highest located airport “Tenzing-Hillary Airport”, also considered one of the world’s most dangerous airports due to its geographical location and very short runway. Lukla is the start for many climbers when they go up into the mountains.
